Major Changes to FanArtistNetwork

All right. There have been some major lapses in running this club, and part of it is my fault as well as !lustinthewind's.
But I am making some major changes to the fanbase this club is going to try and network, and also I have made some administrative changes due to !lustinthewind's recent banning for art thievery. I do have some regrets about taking charge like this, but on the other hand I do not want this club, the members, or myself associated with anything like that in any way. It seems a bit harsh perhaps but I would rather be safe than sorry.
This club is no longer just for anime/manga fanartists, it is also open to any fanartist/writer out there. So if you are a fan of any movie/show/comic/anime/manga/book/band/singer or anything else, here is the place for you.

For FMA Fans</>

We got this from ~FMA-ClubLust :

~ToukaKoukan *Fullmetal-artists ~fullmetal-alchemists and ~FanArtistNetwork have graciously agreed to help us out with our contest. They will be holding the contest but we will be hosting it for them. Not only will our contest be open to the members of our club but it will be open to their members as well.
The contest will consist of Lust in all her glory in an outfit (not found in the anime or manga) that suits her personality/sinful goodness.
Prizes:
1st: DA membership
2nd: featured dev for one month
Voting: more info once the contest ends
Rules: must note ~FMA-ClubLust with “Contest entry” as the subject and the link to the full-view you wish to enter into the contest
Duration: one month
Contest ends August 12th.
Voting will end August 19th.
And please be sure to let ~FMA-ClubLust know which club you are entering from! :aww:

Summer Fun Contest Changes

:bulletpurple: I have decided to change the deadline to the first of august in order to widen the selection of entries in multiple categories.


***BONUS ANIME: FULL METAL ALCHEMIST - ROY MUSTANG
[Note: I am not a fan of this rule since it is sort of excluding those who don't know what Full Metal Alchemist is, but since some artists have already submitted entries with works that include Roy Mustang, I am loosely keeping it for this contest and this contest only. The number of bonus votes is also down from 5(rather a silly amount) to just one. I don;t even like that idea but it is not fair to those who included Mustang in their drawings.]

Wanna make an avatar or ID for the club? Well here's your chance. This contest is open to anything and everything. The deadline is...I have no idea :XD: We'll gauge that by how many entries are recieved. :aww:

uwaahh, you guys have grown a lot since i last dropped by... great! tho i do suggest you widen your range in fanism.... this can be seen from the contest itself-the limited extra 5 votes anime/manga theme stuff... kinda unfair since some havent seen/read most of them. just because it is popular, among yourselves and maybe a whole lot others, doesn't mean EVERYONE knows the certain anime/manga. be more universal if you want the group to grow -and have them active. and one more thing i dont quite agree- the linking thing. it is really up to them if they want to link or not, because not all would like to have all these icons on their page and adding one more is just adding a bit more fuss and kinda packs up the page. get what i mean? it is really unfair to draw the line between what they can do just because they dont show link back here. so think about that rule, okay?

Thanks for dropping by, and thanks again for the thoughts. At this time ~FanArtistNetwork is undergoing some changes, as there has been trouble on !lustinthewind's end and I don't know how often he gets on this account.
I am widening the club to all aspects of fan-art, fan-fiction. Be it TV, anime, comic, movie, or anything else that fandom springs from. And I do see your point, the extra 5 votes struck me as highly odd as well. Plus the necessary linking...or being kicked from the club I found to be too harsh and slightly rude. Not everyone has watched my other club but I am ok with that, I know how crowded a page can get if you link to anything and everything. :faint:
So be on the lookout for change, and hope to see more action from this club. :wave:
